June 22nd, 2008This New York Times article is an excellent one chronicling the CIA’s interrogation of KSM, the 9/11 mastermind. From beginning to end it raises questions about whether or not we would be able to successfully interrogate terrorists without using harsh methods, and I’m afraid I have no concrete answer to that although my guess is that we can achieve success without resorting to the tactics we deplore.
