Going Going Gone
March 31st, 2008Glad to see the Housing and Urban Development Secretary has quit, as I hoped for here. Now I hope the President can choose a suitable replacement who will do the job with admirable skill and courage, or who will not do anything awful, at least. Is that too much to ask for? (As an aside, this headline, coupled with the last post, reminds me of a conversation I had in the summer of 2005 in the midst of an August heatwave when everything I wrote had something to do with the heat in its headline. “How long are you going to keep making these cheesy puns?”)
