As you probably remember, the Iraqi Prime Minister suggested last weekend that they could do without American assistance. His top aide took that back today.

How about they stop posturing and start governing? I know George Bush brought democracy to Iraq, but that doesn’t mean they should emulate George Bush democracy.

In Japan, there was an earthquake this weekend. Fortunately, the damage appears minimal, but I’d like to express my thoughts on the matter and say I hope they can recover, and America helps to that end.
